The Gunter, Texas Municipal Development District (formerly the Gunter EDC) is committed to improving the local and regional economy by creating revenue and wealth through new jobs, business retention, and expansion, increasing the tax base and recruiting new business.
About Gunter MDD
Gunter MDD is managed by a 7 member Board of Directors, governed by the Gunter City Council. Established in 1999 and funded by ½ cent City sales tax for economic development.
The Gunter MDD is committed to improving the lives of the Citizens of Gunter by developing and growing local and regional economic opportunities. Our mission is focused on attraction of new businesses, existing business growth & retention, new job opportunities and increasing the tax base. Additionally, we actively seek out and develop new projects that improve our community and its residents.
